Too often when people are trying to get to the top, they have their ladder leaning against the wrong wall and they climb the ladder only to be disappointed at where they end up. Whenever you cheat in life and don’t play by the Golden Rule, you have your ladder leaning against the wrong wall and it is impossible to achieve lasting success by cheating others.

How is it that we can see the wrong in a person who robs a bank or who steals anything by force, but we don’t see the harm in cheating in business.

Crime has become so prevalent in government, in politics, in churches, in educational institutions, in health care etc. that many people have now made it a custom to cheat their boss by doing less than they should or overcharging for services rendered in business.

Romans 4:13 says, For the promise, that Abraham and his seed should be heirs of the world, was not through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

Faith is the power that will give you anything in life that you want, but without righteousness you will lack the faith needed to get your prayers answered.

Matthew 21:22 says, “You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”

Mark 11:23-25 says, “Truly I tell you that if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and has no doubt in his heart but believes that it will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand to pray, if you hold anything against another, forgive it, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your trespasses as well.”

Righteousness includes the need to forgive. When we fail to forgive, we are the losers, because we miss all of the blessings that faith could afford us.

Going back to my early days in referral based marketing, I thought I was very clever. I had a natural understanding of compensation plans and I could usually find ways to shortcut or take advantage them for my own personal benefit, but what I failed to realize was that by doing so, I was actually stealing from someone else.

What do I mean by that? If I needed to make 9 sales to become Ambassador, then I could sponsor and buy products in the names of my children, my pets, Uncle Dolittle who I know will never do anything, etc. When a person does this, their sponsor and other upline persons make little or nothing for the work they did to introduce me to their business opportunity.

What I finally came to realize is that any attempt to shortcut or cheat the system was really cheating myself. Whenever you spend time trying to understand the compensation plan well enough to cheat it, faith goes out the window and you are left to build your business by your own devices.

On the other hand, when you come to realize that God is a just employer and you apply the law of the harvest to your business, then God will multiply your efforts and give you a bounteous harvest.

You would like those you sponsor to purchase products, which provides a harvest to you for the work that you did to invite them to ShopFreeMart. You would like them to give an honest effort to referring others, which will cause your network to grow and give you an even bigger harvest.

Doesn’t it make sense that you should do unto your sponsor what you would like your referrals to do unto you? Of course it does and most of the time we fail in building a successful business because we need to make some adjustments in our thinking. If we were really motivated to serve others, rather than looking at the money we could earn for ourselves, that simple shift in thinking could be the thing that could give you the harvest you are looking for.

In Proverbs 23:7, we learn that as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he and modern science is now confirming what the writers of the Bible knew centuries ago.

The outer world is a reflection of our inner world. We are tiny patches of the universe looking at ourselves. Every time we look, we are creating more of our physical world.

The human heart is much more than simply a pump. Your heart is the strongest magnetic and electromagnetic part of your body.

Around every human heart, there is a field of energy shaped like a tube. It’s called a tube taurus and it extends between 5 and 8 feet beyond the human heart.

What scientists have found is that the emotions that are emitted by the heart directly affect your immune system and other bodily functions.

It has been shown that we can purposely emit specific emotions to change the DNA within our bodies and therefore our state of health.

It was further shown that these emotions cause the human DNA to change shape. When higher emotions like love and compassion are being emitted, the DNA is very relaxed, but when lower emotions like fear and anger are being emitted, the DNA tightens up into a tiny knot.

I can promise you this, every time you try to shortcut the system, you are tying your DNA up in knots. Not only is that affecting your health, but it is also affecting your finances more than you can possibly imagine.

Whenever possible, I like to bring Biblical teachings and science together. The Bible says that faith is the substance of things hoped for. Science tells us that substance is light. Everything is existence is created from photons of light.

Science has also proven that human DNA is communicating with photons of light and that photons are obedient to the hearts of men and what our DNA creates from these photons is dependent upon our emotions.

Scientists discovered that a group of photons which had a random shape aligned themselves into a particular shape when exposed to human DNA and even remained in that shape after the DNA was removed.

We now know that our DNA has a direct effect upon the physical stuff that our outer world is made up of and that human emotions have the ability to change the DNA that is having an effect on our outer world and we now know that the effect that our DNA has on the outer world is equally as powerful hundreds of miles away as it is right next to us.

You and I have a power inside us that is not bound by the law of physics as we understand it today. Our thoughts, emotions, prayers and feelings transcend the limits of time and space.

In the fourth century around 325 AD, Constantine completely removed 20 books from our current Bible and seriously edited and shortened 20-25 of the remaining books we have today. When the Dead Sea Scrolls were found and translated, we were able to see some of these books in their original form, which hadn’t been seen for 1,700 years and many of the books that were removed from the original text are the ones that describe our relationship to the universe and creation around us through the power of human emotion.

One of the books that was rediscovered in the Nag Hamadi library is the Book of Thomas, which is believed to be the direct teaching of Jesus to his disciples.

The Nag Hammadi Library is a collection of thirteen ancient leather-bound books (called codices) containing over fifty texts, that were discovered in upper Egypt in the town of Nag Hammadi in 1945. This immensely important discovery includes a large number of the primary “Gnostic Gospels” – texts once thought to have been entirely destroyed during the early Christian struggle to define “orthodoxy” – scriptures such as the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Philip, and the Gospel of Truth. The translation of the Nag Hammadi library, initially completed in the 1970’s, has provided impetus to a major re-evaluation of early Christian history and the nature of Gnosticism.

Gnosis is a word which means knowledge and the Gnostics were a sect that believed eternal life was obtained by acquiring certain knowledge. The Gnostics also believed in a departure from seeking worldly riches. Perhaps these ideas were in part garnered from two scriptures; one being John 17:3; And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent and Matthew 6:33, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all of your earthly needs will be supplied.

What I am personally grateful for is the fact that these ancient people preserved these sacred writings that Constantine ripped out of the Bible, and which tell us how to pray using the power of faith so that our prayers will be answered.

So here is what we find in the Gospel of Thomas translated from the Nag Hamaddi library: Verse 106 which says “When you make thought and emotion one, you will say to the mountain, mountain move away and the mountain will move away.”

Which is to say, when you can marry your thought and your emotion into one single potent force, you will have the power to speak to your desires and make them manifest.

Where do thought and emotions become one? Where does this take place? In our hearts. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. When you think and feel in your heart that you are made whole, you will be made whole. It is eternal law. It is decreed from the mouth of God.

Now let’s go to verse 48, which says almost the same thing. This was so important that it was recorded at least three separate times in the same gospel. Do you think Thomas wanted us to understand this? Look at what this says. If the two (thought and emotion) make peace with each other in this one house…

When Jesus is talking about the house or the temple, what is he talking about? He is talking about you. You are the house; you are the temple. If the two make peace with each other in this one house…

If thought and emotion become one; if they make peace with each other in this one house, look what happens. They will say to the mountain move away and it will move away.

Thomas is telling us in a completely different verse how powerful it is to marry thought and emotion. But he still hasn’t told us how. How do you do this?

In your Bible there is a passage that says, ask and ye shall receive. Have any of you heard that before? Ask and you shall receive. I know people that ask and ask and ask and nothing happens. Have you ever wondered why that is?

Because to ask, we must speak to the mountain or to the field or to the Divine Matrix in the language that the field recognizes. The quantum field does not recognize your voice. It recognizes the feeling of your heart. The feeling in your heart creates magnetic waves which affect the photons of light all around you and causes them to take the shape of the things you are feeling. Remember as a man thinketh in his heart so is he.

So when you surround yourself with the feeling of already having that which you desire, your prayer is already answered. Your feelings create the electrical and magnetic waves that bring that answer to you. And we are going to see this in just a moment.

From today’s modern Bible we read in John 16:23-24 “Whatsoever ye ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name. Ask and ye shall receive that your joy may be full.” This is the condensed version that was edited by Constantine in the 1600s. And perhaps it was not by accident that the two sentences that tell us how to ask were removed from our modern text.

Would you like to know what those two original sentences were? This is going back to the original Aramaic. “All things that you ask straightly, directly from inside my name, you will be given. So far you have not done this.” Now here is the part that was edited out. “Ask without hidden motive and be surrounded by your answer. Be enveloped by what you desire, that your gladness be full.”

Look at what it is saying. It is not saying to speak a word, but to be surrounded by the feeling of already having that which you desire. So the feeling you are looking for is feeling as if you already have the thing that you want.

Now let me ask you a serious question. If you are thinking about how to take advantage of your sponsor or to take advantage of ShopFreeMart, is your gladness going to be full? Are you surrounding yourself with the feeling of already having that which you desire, or are you surrounding yourself with the feeling of not wanting to play by the rules, which can only lead to misery and failure?

I know that this doesn’t apply to many of you, but if it does, I encourage you to repent because you will never have the success in your health or your finances if you are acting out of fear and not with faith. So if you want to take full advantage of the law of the harvest, remember Romans 4:13 “For the promise, that Abraham and his seed should be heirs of the world was through the righteousness of faith.

So now that science and ancient spiritual texts are beginning to unite this information, the question is how do we put it to practical use in our lives?

To begin with, we probably should define what are thoughts, feelings and emotions?

The ancients said that we are only capable of two human emotions; the first being love and the second being its opposite, which might be described as hatred or fear. Emotion is a powerful, driving force that is centered primarily in the three dominant energy centers surrounding the abdomen, which our eastern brothers and sisters have long referred to as chakras. In order for this power to be useful, it must be focused and that is accomplished through the power of thought.

For example, we may have a thought of a rainy day and as a result of that thought, we might feel emotions of either love, or fear of what the rainy day may bring. When we marry the power of emotion with the direction of a thought, we create a feeling. So feeling by definition is the union of emotion and thought.

The heart chakra is dedicated to the power of feeling; we feel in our hearts. So the feeling that we have in our hearts is the language that speaks to the mind of God, the light of Christ or the quantum field, which are all names for the tiny photons of light that make up our physical world. Feeling is what instructs these photons of light to take shape based upon the mental and verbal blueprints we have created for them.

What we now understand is that the words of a prayer have absolutely no power, until they are accompanied by the feeling that the thing prayed for is already in existence and delivered as desired.

If the words and the feelings of the prayer do not match, then the prayer has no power to create the thing that is prayed for and that is why some cultures give so much attention to mantras, chants, chimes and bells. They use these things to help create the feeling that is necessary to make a powerful prayer that works.

Many westerners look narrowly upon those who make such practices, when it is us who have lost the words from our ancient texts that teach us how to create the emotions and make powerful prayers that actually produce results.

In the western world, we have come to believe that the words are the prayer. But as well intentioned as those prayers may be, these lost books teach us a modality of prayer that goes way beyond where the words alone will carry us.

Western researchers recognize Four Modalities of Prayer.

The first mode is a Ritualistic Prayer. An example may be, “Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep.”

The second is an Informal Prayer, called a colloquial prayer. An example might be, “Dear God, if you let me get to the gas station before I run out of gas, I promise I will never let my tank get this low again.”

The third mode is a Petitionary Prayer where some petition God, and others petition the angels, the saints or the Virgin Mary. An example might be, “Dear God, I claim the right to heal and be healed now in all past, present and future manifestations.”

The fourth mode of prayer has no words. It is simply a meditative prayer where one becomes aware of a presence in the silence.

These are the basic prayers recognized by western researchers and as good as those prayers are, there has always been another mode of prayer not described in these modalities.

There is a mode of prayer that is based in feeling. In this mode of prayer, we must feel the feeling as if the prayer has already been answered. And it is the feeling that is speaking to photons of light or forces of creation allowing the mind of God to respond to us with what it is we are feeling in our hearts.

So, rather than praying and feeling powerless in a given situation, like “Dear God please let me be healed.” This mode of prayer invites us to feel as if we are participating in that healing and as you feel the peace in that healing, you might say “Thank you God that I am now healed” in which case you are actually empowering the mind of God or the creative field to mirror that condition back to you.

When we pray “for” something, it can never happen as long as we are acknowledging that it doesn’t exist.

In the early 1990s the southwest desert of the United States was experiencing one of the greatest droughts in history. A Native American invited one of his white brothers to join him in a prayer for rain.

They hiked into the high country until they came to a very ancient place where there was a stone circle made by his ancestors. The Native American removed his shoes before stepping into the circle. He then made mention of his ancestors, showing respect to them. He honored the four directions and then held his hands in the prayer position for just a few seconds, whereupon he turned and looked at his friend saying he was hungry and wanted to go get something to eat.

His white brother said, “I thought you were going to pray for rain.” He looked at his friend and said “No, if we prayed for rain, rain could never happen, because the moment you pray for something to occur, you have just acknowledged that it does not exist in that moment.”

His white brother then asked, “If you didn’t pray for rain, what did you just do when you closed your eyes for those few moments?”

He said, “When I closed my eyes, I felt what it feels like to have rain in our pueblo village. He said, I smelled the sweet smell of the air caused by the rain falling off the earthen walls of our buildings. And I felt my naked feet walking in a great deal of mud because of there being so much rain. That way I opened the door to the possibility to bring rain into our world.”

Later that afternoon, something amazing happened. The drought that had happened for so long suddenly changed. That night it rained and all the next day it rained. There was so much rain in fact that in some places it caused flooding.

When asked about the flooding he said, “That is the one part of the prayer I haven’t yet figured out.” Perhaps it was the feeling of walking in deep mud with his bare feet that caused so much rain to fall.

In 1972 there was a study conducted in 24 US cities where people were trained to feel the feeling of peace in a very specific manner and they were strategically placed in cities with populations exceeding 10,000 people.

This was well documented and during the times when these people were surrounding themselves with the feeling of peace, the cities experienced statistically measurable reductions in crime and even traffic accidents declined at the same time.

In Chicago, the stock exchange soured during this study, but when they stopped their prayers, all of those statistics reversed. They repeated these tests several times to prove that the results were not coincidental.

What we now know is that when people come together who are trained to feel the feelings of peace or of healing in their bodies, the effect of those feelings travels into the communities and the world around them.

The effect is first noticed when a certain number of people are participating. The formula to determine that number is the square root of 1% of a given population. That means, in order to have a significant effect upon a population of 1 million people, you would need 100 participants trained in feeling the feelings of peace.

Matthew 18:19,22,24 says, “If two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

This kind of faith has the power to heal instantaneously. A lady from the United States with inoperable bladder cancer traveled to a hospital in China where practitioners are trained to feel the feelings of healing.

This woman was hooked up to a sonogram and a static photo was taken of the tumor, which was displayed on the left side of the screen. The live picture of the tumor was displayed on the right side of the screen as a comparison.

The three trained practioners that were attending this woman were feeling the feeling of being in the presence of a woman that was already healed, fully enabled, fully capacitated, completely whole and healthy. At the same time, they were each chanting a word in Chinese that basically means, the healing is completed.

In two minutes and forty seconds as recorded by the sonogram, the tumor shrunk and disappeared into thin air.

The ancients referred to feelings as prayer. Every moment in life we are having a feeling (good or bad) and by virtue of that feeling we are communicating with the world around us, so perhaps instead of defining prayer as something we do once in a while, when we think we need some outside intervention, we can look at prayer as the way we feel in our lives and life becomes the prayer.

We then must become the things we choose to experience in this life. We must become the peace, the healing, the cooperation, the compassion, the love and the nurturing that we wish to experience in our own lives. As you do unto others, so it shall be done unto you. That is the law of the harvest and is how God will reflect those things back to you and me.

So what happened to me when I had a change of heart and started playing by the rules instead of trying to shortcut the system to my own advantage? Number one, I quit worrying about what I might lose. With no more worry, I was able to do ten times more work in the same amount of time. The worry that I might lose a nickel had literally been holding me back from being highly successful. I then focused on being a blessing to others and in turn I was blessed and highly favored by God.

I went to the top of three companies and number two in two others. One of my organizations had over 3 million members. That is a powerful testimony to me of forgetting myself and turning my attention to serving others and allowing God to give the harvest.

The subject of faith is a whole other lesson, but let me finish by touching upon the first principle of faith and that is gratitude. Gratitude is an acronym for great attitude. Gratitude has a powerful effect upon our heart and getting our heart right is the thing that will change our outward reality more than any other thing.

There is a great teacher from Japan named Ken Honda. He is perhaps the most revered motivational teacher and author in Japan. He interviewed 1200 millionaires and billionaires, one of which is the richest man in Japan. Some call him the Warren Buffet of Japan. When Ken asked him the secret to wealth, he said it is very simple. Arigato your money. Arigato is Japanese for thank you.

Every time money comes to you, take a moment to say thank you. Every time you buy anything or pay a bill or give money away, take a moment to say thank you. Be grateful for every penny coming in and every penny going out to bless others.

Ken has taught this principle to hundreds of thousands of people, many of whom has used it to acquire fortunes. Ken says he can’t explain why it works, but it works for anyone who will practice it until they are as grateful for the money going out as they are for the money coming in.

Finally, faith without works if dead, so along with faith we must take action. Right now is the time for you to take action like you have never done before. Put the blinders on, put your head down and introduce as many people as you possibly can to ShopFreeMart in the next 90-days and miracles will start happening for you.
