You haven’t been told the whole truth about what it takes to be successful in life and today I am going to share with you how to have everything in life that you want, including perfect health, loving relationships and a thriving and profitable business.
Believing in the power of faith and wanting to receive the supernatural favor of God in my life, I began reading the Bible to learn more about faith and how to make it work. What I found are four simple steps that will guarantee financial abundance, perfect health and loving relationships for anyone who gets serious about using them.
I wondered why so few people had really unlocked the power of faith, then I read where most people have their spiritual ears closed and Christ said that he spoke in parables so that those who don’t have spiritual ears wouldn’t hear and wouldn’t understand.
This sounds a bit contradictory, but the truth is that God has some things that are so important, so valuable and so powerful, that he has reserved them for those who have their spiritual ears open to hearing the truth.
One day a young man approached the Greek philosopher Socrates and said, I come to you for knowledge. Socrates took the young man down to the sea and dunked him under the water. When he let the young man up for air, Socrates asked him to repeat what he wanted. ‘Knowledge, O great one,’ he sputtered. Socrates put him under the water again and after repeated dunkings the philosopher asked, ‘What do you want?’ The young man finally gasped, ‘Air. I want air!’ ‘Good,’ answered Socrates. ‘Now, when you want knowledge as much as you wanted air, you shall have it.’
Faith does not come like a lightning bolt from heaven. It does not come by dancing, shouting or waving your arms and it does not come from feeling sorry for yourself. You must first desire faith, and you must ask God to open your spiritual ears so that you can understand what you are about to hear.
You may have asked, ‘what is faith?’ You may have even prayed to better understand faith and somebody told you about this website. That’s often how prayers are answered.
Faith comes by hearing the word and if you keep an open mind, it is planted like a seed in your heart and the same way that seeds must be watered in order to germinate, faith has to be exercised daily if you want it to grow strong like a tree.
Luke 13:19 says, The kingdom of God is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it. And Matt 17:20 says, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
We are going to do some simple Algebra here so we can better understand what the scripture really says and if you haven’t already figured it out, the scripture is talking about the same “mustard seed” in both verses.
So if the kingdom of God is likened to a mustard seed and faith is also likened to the “same” mustard seed, then the kingdom of God and faith are one and the same thing.
Let’s look a little deeper. In Matthew chapter 6: 31-33 we read, “Therefore take no thought saying, What shall we eat? Or, What shall we drink? Or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; (which means right way of thinking) and all these things shall be added unto you.” If we can take this literally, then by seeking to understand and use faith, or the keys of the kingdom, you can have all of your needs supplied.
Then in Matthew 21:22 it says, And all things ye shall ask in faith believing, ye shall receive. Look how consistent this is. All things ye shall ask in faith believing ye “shall” receive. There can only be two conclusions made from these quotations; one, they are not true, or two, we are not understanding how to ask in faith believing and therefore we are not receiving.
However, believing that God cannot lie, then I surmised that faith and the kingdom spoken of in these verses are one and the same, because one can either seek the kingdom or they can ask in faith believing to have all of the good things of life. So we learn the same thing from four separate verses; that the kingdom of God and asking with faith are really one and the same thing; not two. For me this was an important bridge to my understanding because up until that point, I felt like I was trying to arrive at two separate destinations simultaneously.
As a young family man I lacked the necessary money to enjoy life to its fullest and I was tired of working around the clock and not being able to spend quality time with my family and believing that there is a supernatural source of supply where all good things could flow unto me, I wanted to learn how to turn it on and tap into it.
Wallace D Wattles in the first chapter of his book the Science of Getting Rich said.
“WHATEVER MAY BE SAID IN PRAISE OF POVERTY, the fact remains that it is not possible to live a really complete life unless one is rich.”
“No one can rise to his greatest possible height in talent or soul development unless he has plenty of money, for to unfold the soul and to develop talent, he must have many things to use and these require money to buy them with.”
“The purpose of nature is the advancement and unfoldment of life and everyone should have all that can contribute to the power, elegance, beauty and richness of life. To be content with less is sinful.”
“The person who owns all he wants for the living of all the life he is capable of living is rich and no person can have all he wants without plenty of money.”
“To understand the science of getting rich is therefore the most essential of all knowledge on the physical plane.”
“There are three motives for which we live: We live for the body, we live for the mind and we live for the soul. No one of these is better or holier than the others; all alike are desirable and no one of the three – body, mind or soul – can live fully if one of the others is cut short of its full life and expression.”
“It is not right or noble to live only for the soul and deny mind or body and it is wrong to live for the intellect and deny body or soul.”
No one can be truly happy or satisfied unless his body is living fully in its every function and unless the same is true of his mind and his soul.”
“A person cannot live fully in body without good nutrition, comfortable clothing, warm shelter and without freedom from excessive toil. Rest and recreation are also necessary to his physical life.”
“One cannot live fully in mind without books and time to study them, without opportunity for travel and observation or without intellectual companionship, objects of art and things of beauty he is capable of using and appreciating.”
“To achieve fullness in soul a person must have love, and love is denied fullest expression by poverty. A person’s highest happiness is found in the bestowal of benefits on those he loves. The person who has nothing to give cannot fully fill his space as a spouse, as a parent, as a citizen or as a human being.”
“It is perfectly right that you should desire to be rich, for you can render to God and humanity no greater service than to become the most you can be.”
I believe that God wants us to reach our fullest potential. We have just learned that it is impossible to experience a fullness of joy and fully develop in any of these three areas without plenty of time and money. The good news is that we can have “everything” in life, that we ask for in faith believing. Faith is available to everyone and it grows stronger through daily practice, the same as muscles that are regularly exercised.
However, if you believe that God doesn’t want you to be rich, you must shed yourself of this false idea and most false ideas have been ingrained in us since childhood.
For example, you’ve probably heard that it is hard for a rich man to get into heaven. What they didn’t tell you is that it is harder for a poor man, because without faith it is impossible to get into heaven and rich people tend to have more faith than poor people.
So let’s explore the principles of faith, because with faith, you can build yourself a thriving business and in doing so you can help lift up a lot of people that are struggling with their faith, their health and their finances. With strong faith, you might even find your way into the pearly gates if that is what you seek.
The four steps are first learning the art of gratitude, then creating a clear vision of what you want, training the heart to think correctly and training the tongue to speak correctly without doubting.
So let’s take these one at a time so we can see how each step is important toward helping you acquire the kind of faith that will bring you everything you want in life. Attitude determines altitude. Once you fully understand how faith works, you will begin to realize that you created 100% of the situation you are currently experiencing. You will also know that if you don’t like what you have created, you now have the power to change it.
It is impossible to have faith when you are feeling ungrateful about anything, so I suggest that you make a list of things for which you are grateful. This list should eventually include all of your problems because problems are an opportunity for you to exercise faith. If you didn’t have problems to solve or goals to meet, you would never have excuse or reason to exercise faith and without faith you cannot please God.
God commanded us to be grateful in all things; but it is not because he is egotistical or selfish. God does not need our gratitude. He gave this commandment for our benefit, not his. Gratitude is the “power” that turns your wishes into reality. Gratitude is the “power” of creation. The same as you might tell a son or daughter to do something they don’t see the benefit of doing, but because of your life experiences, you know what is best for them and can see the final result of them doing a certain thing. God certainly knows better than we do what is for our best good and he wants us to be grateful because it is the attitude of gratitude that puts us in the driver’s seat of the “create anything you want machine.”
I also rest in the fact that all things work for good to those who love the Lord, including those things that may cause me to struggle emotionally, physically and spiritually. For this reason I am thankful for those experiences, because I know that everything I am experiencing at every moment in my life is working for my best good. I also recognize each problem as a reason to exercise faith as the method to overcome the adversities in life.
Problems are opportunities to do the right thing. I am thankful for the opportunity to overcome and I can overcome all things, and do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me, and to God be all the glory, for He has made me more than an overcomer. And the best way to overcome anything is through the power of faith. Problems are literally opportunities to exercise faith.
God has commanded that I be thankful in all things. It is easy to be grateful for the roses in life, but only people who are spiritually mature can appreciate the thorns.
“He who is thankful in all things shall be made glorious and the things of this earth shall be added a hundred fold yea more.”
Thank You Lord for every challenge that causes me to reach out and look up and ask, “How can I more fully partake of thy supernatural favor and all of the good things that You have prepared for me?”
I am thankful to be in the place where all good things flow unto me easily, quickly and abundantly. I am thankful for the supernatural favor of God in every area of my life and in all that I do. I am thankful – I am thankful – I am thankful – Thank You Lord!
We should be thankful in all things including those things we do not yet have. Instead of saying, “Lord, heal me” you might say, “Thank you Lord that I am healed.” Words of gratitude are often times a greater demonstration of faith than words of petition.
Gratitude puts a person into a frame of mind where faith can exist. A person who whines or complains about his circumstances cannot be filled with faith and Psalms 100:4 tells us that only through thanksgiving and praise can we enter into the “gates” of the kingdom. We have just learned that the Kingdom is the same as Faith, so now we know how to get started using faith; with gratitude we enter the gates of faith.
Step number two is vision – getting clear on what you really want. Where you are today, you were on your way there yesterday. If you are not happy with where you are right now, then your vision of where you were going was not clear enough. Most people however are wondering “how they arrived” at the circumstances they are now in rather than recognizing they are responsible and therefore can create a new and different reality just as easily.
MANY PEOPLE fail to get what they want, only because they themselves have only a vague and misty concept of the things they want to have or do. You must form a clear and definite mental picture of what you want.
Hebrews 11:1 tells us that Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the “evidence” of things not seen.
If you wanted to build a new home you would no doubt hire an architect to create for you a blueprint. Is not the blueprint the “evidence” of a house that you cannot yet see, and furthermore, if the architect fails to draw in the doors and windows exactly as you want them, are you going to be happy living in the house when it is built? If you expect to be happy when you finally receive what you are asking for, your plan or vision of what you want must be detailed, clear and complete. In fact, the more clear and definite you make your picture and the more you dwell upon it, bringing out all its delightful details, the faster it will be manifested.
The scripture says that before God begins anything, he always finishes it first. In other words God even has a vision of the completed project before he begins it. You too can create a vision of what you want. That way, before you even begin a project, you will know what the end result is going to be and you will not get discouraged when you’ve had a bad day, because you will realize that what you are going through today is only temporary and you will know what is coming to you because you have seen a vision of the end result.
Everything in the universe is made up of photons of light. Photons then are the “substance” of things hoped for and they exists everywhere. When they dance around in random orbit, they are not tangible, but they are intelligent and can form themselves into anything that exists.
What we now know from quantum physics is that the human heart has an aura or energy field that projects itself outside of the human body and is measurable for up to a 30-foot radius around the body. Scientist believe however that this energy field extends to infinity and they have discovered that photons of light are obedient to the human heart. This fact would help to explain the scripture in Proverbs 23:7 which says “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” Photons apparently are commanded by God to be obedient to the heart thoughts of mankind and create whatever the heart of man dictates.
Some people have made vision boards and posted pictures as a reminder of what they want; for example a new car, house, etc. They test-drive the new car, they attend an open house, and they imagine living in the house or they memorize the smell of the leather seats and the feeling they get when driving the new car. They can also imagine how they would feel if that same car was parked in their garage or driveway. The clearer that you make your vision the faster you will realize it.
I had a vision of a business opportunity that I could be passionate about and a product or service that is truly a blessing or a necessity for every human being and which benefits everyone who takes advantage of it. I also wanted a product or service that was fairly priced. By carrying that vision and the feeling of having it, my desire eventually materialized.
I now have a vision of attracting people into my business who are both leaders and who want to become leaders; people who have a vision of building a passive retirement income and helping others do the same; people who have the mind and heart to serve others and who desire to help others find solutions to their health and money problems; people who are seeking a fullness of life with optimum health and plenty of money to enjoy life.
I see those people coming into my business and I also see people coming who don’t yet have a clear vision of what they want, but who will use these steps of faith as a vehicle to create a clear vision of being successful in their own business. I see many people who are business builders coming into my organization and I also see a whole new wave of people who have never known about network marketing joining my organization.
When your vision is clear, the method will appear. You don’t need to concern yourself with how to attract the right people into your business. People will call you and you will be inspired to talk to the right people at the right time. I have found that whatever I focus on begins to appear supernaturally as long as I follow these simple steps.
Wallace D. Wattles had a profound insight into the elements of faith and I would like to quote again from the Science of Getting Rich to help us better understand the next step.
“Nature is an inexhaustible storehouse of riches. Everything you see on earth is made from one original substance, out of which all things proceed. The universe was made out of it and ten thousand times more might still be made from it. A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.”
Original substance is alive with creative energy and it is constantly producing more forms. A person can form things in his thought, and by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created. In order to do this; a person must pass from the competitive to the creative mind. He must form a clear mental picture of the things he wants. He must then do, with faith and purpose all that can be done each day, doing each separate thing in an efficient manner.”
But having a mental picture is not sufficient to creating things using the power of faith. The trick to getting everything that you want is to get the thoughts of those things from your head to your heart. The heart is the “feeling” center of the body, so in step number three, we are really trying to cultivate the right feelings.
Fear carries the feeling of helplessness. To the contrary, faith is a peaceful, grateful feeling of knowing where you are going and a confidence and expectancy that the things you want are now coming to you. So how can you create the feeling of already having that which you are asking for?
You started out with a statement of gratitude. Gratitude IS the creative power that will bring you everything you wish for, like the genie in Aladdin’s lamp. Being grateful puts you in a frame of mind that opens the faucet to the flow of all good things toward you.
Then you made a vision statement, clearly describing the things that you want to see show up in your life. This is like a blueprint for a new home. If the carpenters follow through with the plans, the house will materialize.
Now you need to cultivate the feeling of having the things that you desire. The way you do that is by asking how would I feel if right now I were to receive exactly and completely the thing or things that I want?
Here is an example. “How does it feel to have hundreds of quality, mature people who are serious about improving their own lives and who love to help others, joining your business?” Or, if you have debts to pay, “How does it feel to have all of my debts paid and have plenty of money to do all the things that I want?” Or, “How does it feel to have a faithful companion that loves, honors and respects me and who also seeks to serve God?”
You may also consider using these steps for spiritual things. For example, the Bible says, “This is life eternal to know God.” And it also says, “Not everyone who says Lord, Lord will enter” into eternal life. Therefore, there is “a particular manner” in which you need to “know” God in order to inherit eternal life.
You might then make a vision statement saying, “I know God in the manner required to obtain eternal life.” Then continue to ask, “How does it feel to know God in the manner that is required for eternal life.”
The more you ask “how does it feel” and the more you practice experiencing the feelings you would have if your wish were granted today, the faster you will realize your desires.
You can use these steps of faith to have everything in life that brings you joy. You can also use these steps of faith to know God in the manner that will bring you everlasting joy in the life to come.
If your heart is heavy and filled with pain, it may be difficult to find the good feeling you are looking for by asking “how does it feel”. In such a case you may have to ask “How would it feel to have the thing or things that I want?”
I found myself in such a situation. Something happened that caused me considerable grief and try as I might, I couldn’t find the feeling of already having what I wanted, so I began asking how would it feel to have the thing I was wanting in my life? Gradually I began to find the feeling I was looking for and with continued practice the feeling grew stronger each day, until I was able to have the feeling of what I wanted by asking “how does it feel” and by continuing to practice this, I have now received that thing in my life that was so important to me.
This simple exercise will change your heart, and remember that as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. When you succeed in changing the heart, everything else will change also. It has no choice. It is Eternal law.
Romans 4:17 says, “God calleth those things, which are not as though they were.”
The next step is affirmation or prayer. The word affirmation means to make firm, solid or make manifest from the unmanifest. Affirmation (Prayer) is an important part of the four steps of faith, but the feelings that you have in your heart at the time you do your affirmations is what is going determine the outcome of what will be created. If you are saying I have plenty of money but in your heart you are thinking about all of the bills you can’t pay today, you are creating more bills instead of more money. The first three steps put your heart into a “feeling of faith” and it is from this vantage point that you must make a statement of already having what it is that you want.
While visualizing in your mind’s eye that your desire is being fulfilled, audibly speak the words from your heart center (not your voice box) in one simple, concise statement of your desire being completed.
Here are some sample affirmations. God said, “Let there be light.” You might say, “I now have many quality, mature people coming into my business daily.” Or, “My debts are all paid; I now have plenty of money.” You must do this at the time you are feeling how it would feel when you already have what you want.
Daily “praying” your vision statement is compared to the carpenters working daily on the house and if you don’t quit along the way, your vision will surely come to pass.
In Luke chapter 6 it says: A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Gratitude and clearly defining your vision or desire, puts good treasures into your heart. After many days of practicing the attitude of gratitude and putting good vibrations into your heart, like those of Joy and Love, there will be an abundance of good treasure to draw from.
Then in praying or affirming, you will call forth those things, which are not as though they were. You are purposely bringing forth good with the words that you speak out of the abundance of good feelings you have put into your heart. The circumstances you create with the words that come out of your mouth are a result of the feelings you are experiencing in your heart when you speak them.
Matthew 12:33-37 says, Either make the tree good and the fruit good; or else make the tree and the fruit corrupt. For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh.
A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things, and the evil man evil things. But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day of Judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Is this a wake-up call? Every word you speak is bringing forth either good or bad, sickness or health, abundance or poverty. By your own words you are either receiving blessings or condemnation. And you shall give account for every negative word you speak in the Day of Judgment and every day is judgment day. Every day you are eating the fruit, either good or bad, from the words that came out of your heart in days gone by.
Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness (which means his right way of thinking) and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 12:30 says, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.”
You can’t speak death and life, sickness and health, lack and abundance. When you do, you are dividing your house against itself and you will be brought to sickness and poverty. No man can serve two masters and all you have to do is look at the fruit you have been producing to know what are the real thoughts of your heart and also which master you have been serving.
Not to worry. God is quick to forgive and as soon as you cut the bad wood out of your tree, you will begin producing the kind of fruit you have been looking for. Your business and your bank accounts will thrive, your health will spring forth and your relationships will blossom. “No matter how bad it has been, it is never too late to be great in the kingdom of God!”
During his ministry Christ frequently used a phrase. “Be it done unto you according to your faith.” This phrase is a daily decree to each of us and everything that happens to us in life is according to our faith. We each get to choose how to live our lives and the fruit we shall receive tomorrow and the next day and the next.
There is no other path other than faith for whenever you fail to exercise faith you are working outside of the kingdom of God and living in sin. It is sin to think and speak of negative things. Furthermore without faith it is impossible to please God.
When you get rid of all that is negative in your life, your heart can no longer condemn you, for it is out of the abundance of the heart that your mouth speaks and it is your own negative thoughts and words that condemn you.
So get rid of unforgiveness; no longer render evil for evil. Rejoice in knowing that you now have the power to change every situation. Pray without ceasing and in everything give thanks. Prove the four steps of faith by exercising them daily and hold fast to all that is good.
Recap:
Step 1 is gratitude – be thankful for the problem or the goal you want to achieve because it is an opportunity for you to exercise faith.
Step 2. Clearly describe in detail what it is that you want. The more clear and complete even down to the time that you want to have what you are asking for, will increase your faith and the speed with which you realize it.
Step 3. Surround yourself with the feeling of already having that which you want. Ask, “How would I feel if this instant I were to immediately receive exactly what I am wanting to receive?”
Step 4. Is to ask correctly. This can be an affirmation or it can be an actual prayer. But in order to pray correctly there are two things that have been missing from our current Bible because they were removed by Constantine in the 1600’s. We completely lost 20 books of the Bible and 20-25 others were seriously edited with the intent to remove salient truths.
Since the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, we now have some of those books again in their entirety. One law of prayer that was totally removed was to surround yourself with the feeling of already having that which you want.
The other thing that has been misunderstood and mistaught by most religious leaders is the part that says to “ask in my name.” Christians specifically have been taught to pray in the name of Jesus instead of praying in “my name.”
If you were to walk into a bank and ask to withdraw money from the account of Jesus, you would be asked to produce ID proving that you are indeed Jesus. If you are not Jesus, the bank is not going to allow you to request money in his name or any other name for which you cannot produce ID. For the exact same reason, you cannot pray in Jesus’ name and expect to receive anything.
Other religions have carried this a step further. They believe they can ask the mother of Christ to mediate with her son in behalf of their wishes. If this were true, I can only imagine how weary the mother of Christ must be from running back and forth between her son and millions of petitioners.
When certain things are put in their true perspective, we begin to realize how rediculous the traditions of men really and how credulous people are to believe such things.
Other religions believe that Christ is only their elder brother instead of their father and that somehow God gives preference to Christ over and above his other children and that if we somehow please our brother that he will intercede and ask God to grant our wishes.
It is not my intent to make fun of anyone. I too grew up in a home where religion was king. I believed that certain religious leaders were the vicar of Christ or his mouthpiece on earth and that if I could somehow get close enough for him to touch me, that I could be healed of my physical diseases and perhaps even find enough favor with God to enter the pearly gates when I died.
I recently saw Pope Francis on television when he visited the Philippines. They announced that millions of people had showed up to get as close to the Pope as they could. For a considerable number that was miles away, but somehow just making the effort to be that close to the Pope brought them joy although there were not even any big screen monitors for them to watch, nor could they hear his voice.
It was near the end of a 3 day conference. The Pope was sitting there; I am sure he was tired, but he also appeared to be as bored as I was. He could hardly keep his eyes open and I thought he might even fall out of his chair as he was obviously fighting sleep.
To my amazement, when the conference ended, the Pope was wide awake and walked with apparent vigor to the vehicle that was waiting to carry him away. I watched for about 20 minutes as they drove mile after mile past the crowds of waiting onlookers as he stood in the back of pickup like vehicle (that was elaborate enough to have been made especially for the Pope) and waived to the people lined up along the streets. No matter how far they drove, there were hoards of people waiting and hoping to get a glance at the Pope.
I thought about the collective millions of hours and dollars that the people had spent to satisfy their hope of being touched by the visage of the Pope. Then I thought how the true and living God would have wanted this wasted time and money to have been used to feed the hungry and lift the burdens of the millions of people who are suffering from lack of work and adequate shelter. In doing so, many lives truly would have been touched by the spirit of God.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if people could learn about the great power of faith that Christ imparted to all who learn how to operate in the kingdom of God? Then they would not flock to such an event hoping that some crumb of the spirit might fall from someone who is no more holy than themselves.
It is true that some may be healed by seeing the Pope, but the Pope did not heal them. Even Christ himself said to the woman who touched the hem of his garment, “your faith has made you whole.” If any were healed by seeing the Pope, it was their faith, and not the faith of Christ nor of the Pope that healed them.
With this understanding, people no longer have to seek after religious icons to receive the miracles that they long for. Everyday can be a miracle and they can have miracles as often as they want them by exercising faith correctly. “Whatsoever you ask in faith believing, you shall receive!
Religion is not spirituality. People go to church and events like I just described hoping to be touched by the spirit and receive some supernatural help in some area of their lives. They get motivated with false doctrines and with false hopes and in the end blame themselves for the emptiness they feel inside after leaving their houses of worship.
If churches pointed people to the straight and narrow path (which is personal relationship and personal knowledge of God) then many would be encouraged to continue down that path until they found eternal life. But instead, every religion teaches mixes scripture with the doctrines of men. They merely regurgitate what they were taught in Bible school and the scriptures explains this practice by saying “there is vomit on every table.” Thus they lead people away from the straight and narrow path. The Word goes on to say that neither do they enter in but they prevent their followers from entering therein also. (See Matthew Chapter 23.)
Beside Christ there is no vicar; there is no mouthpiece and there is no mediator and if you believe otherwise, then perhaps you should read the 43rd and 44th chapters of Isaiah where Christ is clearly the one speaking. He says, “I AM Alpha and Omega; the First and the Last; I am your Savior and your Redeemer and beside me there is no Redeemer; I AM the Holy One of Israel; I created the path through the Red Sea; I created the heavens and the earth and all things that in them are (that includes the spirits of all mankind); before me there was no God and after me there shall be no God; I know no other Gods.”
If Christ knows no other Gods, I think it is safe to say that he is the “only true and living God” and the only one who has power to forgive sins and to grant eternal life.
Furthermore, if Christ is God Omnipotent, then he already had all power in heaven and earth and therefore could not ask for any help to complete the atonement. This leaves us only one thing to conclude and that is, when Christ prayed it was merely an example of how we should pray. Christ prayed in this manner. “Heavenly Father, I ask you in my name for … Amen.
The Bible says that if we pray incorrectly, that our prayers shall not be answered. Look around and witness for yourself the millions of prayers that are said each day and not answered. Is it possible that people have been taught to pray incorrectly? Yes, and it is in great part due to the fact that they are asking in Jesus’ name and not their own.
Whether Christ were my father or my brother, it makes no sense to pray in his name. Would a child go to his earthly father and say? “Daddy, I ask in your name for…”
It was only after hearing hundreds of sermons on faith that essentially said, “all you have to do is have faith and everything will be okay” that I began to question “what is faith?” And since not one pastor could tell me, I went to God personally to ask and learn about faith and how to acquire it and use it. Finally, it was only after I began to pray correctly that my prayers are now consistently answered.
Let me relate a couple of stories. My 8-year-old stepson fell from an 8-foot cement wall. My wife took him to the doctor and the doctor said his tailbone was broken and we needed to take the him to the hospital an hour from our home town.
I told my wife that doctors can do nothing for a broken tailbone and she should know because she had broken her own. I asked if she would rather trust in the doctors or trust in God for the boy to be healed. She turned and repeated the question to him and he responded without hesitation that he would rather trust in God.
So I called him to my side and while standing I asked him if he believed that God could heal him and he said yes. I then told him that the first step of faith is gratitude and he needed to thank God for the broken bone because this was an opportunity to exercise faith and witness the miracle of his tailbone being healed. He then thanked God for the broken bone.
Next I told him to visualize the bone coming back together and being completely healed. He then took a minute and did so.
Next I told him to surround himself with the feeling of being completely pain free and having the bone miraculously healed. I watched as he first looked to the right and as his eyes were again moving to the left, I noticed when he first connected with that feeling. I continued to watch for another minute or two when he got a big grin on his face and he said, “Daddy, the pain is all gone.”
I said okay, then that means you have already been healed, but we need to complete the process with an affirmation. (Affirm means to make firm from that which is infirm, which are photons of light.)
I recommended to him that he simply thank God for taking away his pain and healing him completely. He quickly did that and went out to play.
About two hours later, the spirit told me to get up from my desk and look out of my office into the living room. The same boy was playing with his oldest brother who at that moment pushed him very hard on the chest with his palms, knocking him soundly to the cement floor directly onto his tailbone.
I noticed that when he hit the floor that he didn’t even act as though he felt any pain whatsoever and I am certain that he didn’t even think about his tailbone being broken just 2-hours earlier. He stood up, reached back with one hand and brushed off his pants and went outside to play.
I thought about what I had just witnessed and realized that God had told me to get up from my desk so that I could witness that his tailbone had indeed been healed by the power of faith, so that I would be inspired to tell this story as I have done over and over again.
While returning from the Philippines to the US in November of 2014, I was traveling standby and could only fly if seats were available. I went to the airport 4-hours early and after standing in line for about 2-hours I finally reached the ticket counter. I received a Seat Request and was told to stand in a roped off area designated for standby passengers.
I was standing to one side and up walked a nice looking lady perhaps in her early 40’s and began talking to me like we were old friends. She said she was a stewardess for Delta airlines and had come the day before trying to get a flight out of Manila and was turned away because the plane was full.
She told me that there were 40 people waiting on standby that day and there were only 10 seats available. I happened to be at the bottom of the standby list, so this was not comforting news. She then went on to tell me that the planes were overbooked for the next 7 days and that I would probably have to come back everyday for the next 7 days in order to get a flight out.
I though about carrying my luggage back to the street, hailing a taxi and finding a hotel and waiting 24 hours so I could do this all over again and even perhaps for the next 7 days. I wondered what my odds of catching this plane and it seemed to me that it must have been in the billions or maybe even trillions.
Then I thought, “Faith is not dependent upon seats available – whatsoever I ask in faith believing I shall receive.” I immediately began thanking God for this seemingly insurmountable opportunity for me to exercise faith. I then began visualizing myself walking down the corridor that leads to the plane and being welcomed aboard.
I then asked myself, “How would I feel if I were to miraculously get a seat on this plane today?” I immediately felt a wave of peace and calmness sweep over me as I thought about how relieved I would be to not have to come back again every day for up to a week before getting a flight out.
I then prayed, “Heavenly Father, I ask in my name for a seat on this airplane today – Amen.”
I then tried to maintain the same feeling of calmness that had come over me and I continued to visualize myself boarding the airplane that day.
After the full-fare passengers were all given tickets, they quickly filled the remaining seats from the standby passengers. Then they began turning the remainder away one by one. I could have gotten discouraged and simply left at that point, knowing that the plane was already filled, but I waited, trusting in the feeling that God had given me.
Finally after the others had been turned away, a lady from the ticket counter walked up and said, “Mr. Austin, I have a seat request here and if you are willing to go through the long line at security, there is a slight chance that you may be able to board. She said the odds were more against it than in favor, but that I could take that chance if I wanted to. I said thank you very much and took the ticket and headed for the security line.
The hour was so late that they sent someone up from the plane with a sign asking for anyone that may be on the flight I was hoping to catch. I raised my hand and they quickly took me to the front of the line and when I got to the gate, I was given a ticket and I flew that day.
Recently I met a young lady from Pakistan on the Internet. She said my name kept showing up as a recommended friend although we had no friends in common. She kept clicking it off, but one day she heard the spirit say, “send him a friend request”.
She did and she was in the hospital with her mother at the time I accepted. She told me that her mother had been hit by a car 9-years-ago and that she had received 6 operations during that time and her leg still would not heal. I taught her the 4 Steps of Faith via Facebook and she translated what I told her to her mother.
When I finished, I suggested that the three of us pray together for her mother and they both agreed and after praying, her mother got up from her hospital bed and walked out of the hospital. She was healed right then and there.
How did this happen? The photons of light that are everywhere present, just took the shape of a healthy leg that is healed and whole instead of a leg that is injured and will not heal. This can happen in a matter of seconds or minutes. We don’t have to wait for long periods of time to experience the power of faith and the more we exercise faith on a daily basis, the stronger our faith becomes, until we can realize the answers to our prayers, sometimes before we even ask.
I will finish with one more story. There was a woman living in the United States who had inoperable bladder cancer.
She heard about a hospital in China that uses no drugs, radiation or surgery. They operate solely with the power of faith.
She was assigned three people to attend her. One operated a sonogram and a static photo was taken of the tumor and posted to the left side of a computer monitor. The live feed to the sonogram was then posted to the right side of the screen, the effect being two identical tumors side by side.
Two gentlemen who were trained to feel that they are in the presence of someone who is healed and made whole began their work, which included chanting one word in Chinese equivalent to the English words, it is finished, it is done, it is complete.
In two minutes and forty five seconds from the time they started, the tumor on the right side of the monitor completely disappeared. There was nothing left, not even any residue.
What we now know from Quantam Physicis is that photons of light that are formed into the shape of a tumor can quickly go back into random orbit, which causes that tumor to simply no longer exist. By the same token, photons of light that make up a broken bone or unhealthy organ can as quickly change shape and the bone or organ can be instantly healed.
May God bless you richly as you endeavor to use these four steps of faith in everything you do.
